Introduction

IB French B is designed for students learning French as a second language who already have a certain background in French. The syllabus content revolves around global issues such as identities, experiences, human ingenuity, social organization, sharing the planet… The aims of the course are to develop students’ intercultural understanding, develop students’ awareness of the role of language in relation to other areas of knowledge, enable students to understand and use French in a range of contexts and for a variety of purposes.
