Giới thiệu

Mục tiêu bao trùm của Key Stage English là thúc đẩy các tiêu chuẩn cao về ngôn ngữ bằng cách trang bị cho học sinh khả năng nói và viết trôi chảy, đồng thời phát triển tình yêu văn học của các em thông qua việc đọc các văn bản văn học bên cạnh các văn bản phi văn học. Chương trình đảm bảo rằng học sinh sẽ được phát triển thói quen đọc sách thường xuyên; có được vốn từ vựng phong phú, nắm vững về ngữ pháp và các quy ước ngôn ngữ; đánh giá cao các di sản văn học; có năng lực trong nghệ thuật nói và nghe, thuyết trình và tranh luận.

Unit 4: Spoken English

4.1 Using Standard English confidently in a range of formal and informal contexts

4.2 Giving short speeches and presentations, expressing their own ideas and keeping to the point

4.3 Participating in formal debates and structured discussions, summarizing and/or building on what has been said

4.4 Improvising, rehearsing and performing play scripts and poetry in order to generate language and discuss language use and meaning, using role, intonation, tone, volume, mood, silence, stillness and action to add impact
