- Your studying program in New Zealand lasts at least two years.
- After graduation, you will be issued with the certificate to work and settle in New Zealand.
- Your program is taught at the private training institution or recognized higher education institution in New Zealand education system.
- IELTS 5.0 or above.
- Students with visas are allowed to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week during study time and full-time during vacation.
- International students are not allowed to own or become a contractor but must be an employee with a legal labor contract.
- Master’s or doctoral students in New Zealand can work full-time while studying.
- Translators: You can get documents from workplaces and translate them at home. Remuneration is usually based on the number of translated pages.
- Cashiers: You will help customers choose products, pay and clean the store after closing at 18:00. If you choose this job, you usually have to work on both Saturday and Sunday.
- Seasonal workers: Each harvest season for fruits or vegetables, you can sign up for a seasonal job to support the farmer. The job does not require special skills, it does not last long, so many international students choose during the summer vacation.
- Minimum average salary for adults is 17.7 USD per hour (before taxes).
- Average starting salary for adults is 13.2 USD per hour (before taxes).
- Average salary for trainees is 13.2 USD per hour (before taxes).
