Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About

GRE Verbal Reasoning

While having a rich vocabulary is crucial, rote memorization is not the most effective strategy. Our method focuses on learning words in context, understanding roots, prefixes, and suffixes, and practicing with high-quality materials to systematically build your vocabulary.
In Text Completion, you fill one, two, or three blanks in a passage from multiple choices. In Sentence Equivalence, you choose two words from a list of six that, when inserted into a single blank, create sentences with the same meaning.
The key is active reading. Our teachers train you to identify main ideas, argument structures, author tone, and to anticipate question types as you read—rather than passively scanning the text.
We provide a comprehensive program including: 1) Systematic vocabulary building, 2) Guided practice and deep strategy training for all three question types, and 3) Timed drills and mock tests to develop speed and endurance.
The GRE Verbal section is scored on a 130–170 scale. For competitive graduate programs in humanities, social sciences, or law, scores of 163 and above are considered very strong. For most other programs, scores above 155–160 are solid benchmarks.
Tuition depends on the number of study hours and the support level you choose. For a detailed quote, please contact Intertu Education’s advisory team directly.
