Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About

GMAT Quantitative Reasoning

The biggest change is the complete removal of Data Sufficiency questions. The entire Quantitative Reasoning section now consists only of Problem Solving questions, with less emphasis on geometry topics.

No. Calculators are not allowed on the GMAT Quantitative Reasoning section. All calculations must be done by hand or mentally, which is a key difference from the GRE.
Absolutely not. GMAT Quant tests high school-level math concepts. Success comes from mastering these basics, recognizing question types, and applying a logical, strategic approach to problem-solving rather than advanced math abilities.
Our GMAT Quant program focuses on strategy. We provide a comprehensive review of all tested math concepts, teach you specific techniques for different problem types, and conduct intensive timed practice sessions to build speed, accuracy, and mental math skills.
The GMAT Focus Edition uses a new scoring scale from 60 to 90. A score of 80 or higher is generally considered competitive for top business schools, especially for candidates coming from non-quantitative backgrounds.
Tuition depends on the total study hours and the level of support service you choose (Standard, Premium, or Platinum). For a detailed quote, please contact Intertu Education’s advisory team directly.
