Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About

SACE Biology

While memorizing terminology is part of the course, success in SACE Biology relies more on understanding complex processes and applying knowledge rather than rote learning.
SHE is a research-based task where students explore how biological science interacts with society. This could include analyzing a new medical technology, a conservation issue, or an ethical debate in genetics.
Assessment is usually divided into 30% for school-based components (Folio, including practical investigations and SHE) and 70% for the final external examination.
Our teachers guide students through the entire scientific process: developing hypotheses, designing valid experimental methods, collecting and analyzing data, and writing a comprehensive report that meets SACE criteria while maintaining academic integrity.
It is a prerequisite or highly recommended subject for a wide range of university courses, including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, and Environmental Science.
Tuition fees for SACE Biology at Intertu Education depend on the package of study hours and level of support service (Standard, Premium, Platinum) chosen by parents to best meet their child’s learning needs and goals. For a detailed fee quote, please contact the Intertu advisory team directly.
