ACT Math covers a broader range of topics, with more questions on Geometry and Trigonometry. The biggest challenge in ACT Math is time pressure — you have an average of just 60 seconds per question.
Yes, you are allowed to use an approved calculator throughout the entire ACT Math section. Knowing how to use your calculator effectively is an important part of your test-taking strategy.
No, unlike the SAT, the ACT does not provide a list of formulas. You are expected to memorize key formulas in Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry.
